Hi
I'm thinking of making bars of soap for people for christmas and thought it would be nice to wrap them up in one of those flannel reindeers. Please could someone point me in the direction of an idiots guide to making these reindeers. I've searched and found lots of lovely pics of people reindeer's but no destructions..
Thanks in advance you marvelously crafty lot

Hopefully it will be ok. Reasonable price too... I don't want to spend a fortune on these reindeer as they are only a little gift to go with everybodys 'proper' gifts. I have about 10 to make. 5 for ladies, 5 for men.
Total spent- £1.75
Current cost per reindeer- 0.17p (i'm going to try to keep track of it so I don't start spending silly money on a 'little' gift)

Some advice please regarding the flannels. I have found THESE on ebay.
I'm not sure if the brown looks a bit too dark- or the latte looks a bit too pale!!
What would you choose?
Can anybody think of a cheaper stockist?
These would work out at 69p each...taking my total cost per reindeer to 86p and that's only 2 items bought!! ..:o and I haven't even got as far as the cost of the soaps to go in them0 -
Will check out wilkos tomorrow- their website says they have some packs of 3 for £1 (but postage is silly so hopefully they will have them in store!) This would give me a more reasonable cost of 57p per reindeer (so far) Also going to the craft store tomorrow so will look out for googly eyes, red bobbles for noses and pipecleaners. Oh, and bells! Quite a shopping list!0

I would have never have though of looking in those 2- how daft am I?
Think the homebargains one would work out cheapest if they have any and the right colour- the primark ones I'd have to get 3 packs which would be £4.41, where as wilkos would be £4 and homebargains £3.90. Fingers crossed homebargains comes up trumps!
Unless anyone has any further offers on £3.90?0 -
Ok- I know I'm being really needy now but I don't want to fork out for stuff and it be wrong-
Does anybody know roughly what size bells you need? How 'tiny' is 'tiny'.Would 8mm be big enough? Or would THESE be big enough? They seem like a good price but look very tiny next to that 5p!
I just don't want to mess up as I am making so many, and making the soap myself too, I'm expecting they will cost at least £5 each at the end of the day. £50 is a lot of money to make a fudge of it!!0
