help urgent please-rehydration fluid?

Somehwere, I have got a recipe for home-made rehydration fluid. A mix of water sugar and salt etc. But now that I need it, naturally I cannot lay hands on it ! :mad: Does anybody know ?

    My very elderly Mum was told by her doctor to drink flat Coke. She didn't like it but she did it, and it seemed to do the trick !

    Yes got it sorted ta. Made up the mix as above, but I was just telling MLF why coke isnt any good :)
  • A doctor told me to use any flat - full sugar - fizzy pop. In order to flatten it quickly, add sugar and watch it fizz! Add a pinch of salt if you want to but only if not eaten/drunk for a few days, otherwise sugar alone will do. It does stop you being sick too - magic. My children used it when younger and it worked - also it tastes much nicer than commercial brands. :money:

    when my kids had salmonella i was told to give them flat coke or sprite. It does help.
