apple wine

Hi

I have loads of apples on my trees and am hoping to use them for a first attempt at home winemaking, has anyone got any good recipes or tips.

    we're making cider! well, hopefully. apples through juicer, put into large vessel. left open for a few days. bubbler added. got really cloudy with crust on top. now clearing and the crust is thinning. we'll see if it's any good in a few weeks!

  • when properly made there are many differences, type of apples used, type of yeast used, alcohol content and fermentation times.

    me - im more interested in which one gets me pi**ed first
