car boots or ebay??

im expecting a baby in march and so i'll be moving out of mum and dads and into a place with my partner. i am in the process of giving my room a big clear out and have loads of books, clothes ect. I would love to sell them as the extra money would be soooo handy!!
Would i be better off doing a car booty or trying to sell on a site such as ebay??

I think i would agree with 4thfrog. Although i am finding selling tough on ebay at the moment - but the boot sales are really busy at the moment. I am sure there is a car boot bit somewhere on this site which i found really helpful a couple of years ago.

i vote for car boot sale for most things as ebay fees and paypal eat into anything you make.
Only sell high value stuff on ebay at a starting price your happy with as things don't seem to get bidded up as much as they used to.

I tend to take everything to car boot after researching what they are worth and anything left over goes on ebay.
