Gym advice?

Hello everyone!

Basically I wondered if there was anyone on here with any experiance in joining a gym and getting maximum benefits to minimum payment?

I'm looking to join my local fitness first, but its looking at either 50 quid or 30 quid joining fee (the more expensive includes some advice or something for so many weeks), and then about 30 quid a month (12 month contract) or 3 quid more a month for a 3 month contract.

I'm worried that a 12 month contract is too much to commit to...

Are there any other threads covering this (I've done a basic search to no avail...), or can anyone offer any loopholes or money saving advice....

There have been quite a few threads on this topic recently. Is/was a thread under Discount codes about gym membership, and another I've spotted about "How to cut Gym bills". Sorry I'm still learning how to negotiate around the site, and haven't learnt how to link thru to another thread. Hope this helps
