Depends on if the PWC was claiming benefits, why are there arrears though?0

I thought that the NRP would still owe the arrears built up over the period of time that the CSA have been involved? Like, say you have a credit card, then decide to cut it up and stop using it. You rack up a debt of £2000 over the time from you first acquiring the credit card to you cutting the credit card up - just because you've cut the credit card up, it does not mean that you are no longer liable to pay for the debt that you have built up. You are still required to pay off that debt..if that makes sense?
I could be completely wrong though!!0 -
A pwc can only cancel arrears owing to pwc - cannot cancel any arrears owing to SoS.0

If the debt is owed to yourself and not SoS and you are saying you don't want it, can you not advise CSA your ex has paid you it direct? Thus cancelling the arrears?0

yes you can, anything owed directly to yourself can be cancelled if you wish.
They would still have to pay any money owed to the sos.0
