Mortgage for discharged bankrupt

Options
Can anybody give me advice. I was discharged from bankruptcy 2 years ago. when my mother died last year she left me some money which I would like to invest in property. I can therefore put down a large deposit (Maybe 20-30%). What are my chances of getting a decent rate?

You won't get the most competitive rate, its hard to say really without knowing the full ins and outs of your finances, but one option is to go onto a credit repair mortgage, where as your payments are proven regular over a period of time it should gradually rebuild your credit rating, and cascade you onto lower rates as you credit improves.
