    Morning all

Spent the night on the sofa with DS2 - good job, 'cos he was sick again. I've already phoned his and my school, let his taxi escort know and contacted my colleague re work for today. Also decluttered :coffee:, but don't feel at all like eating.

Here's my list for today (looks like I'll need some HHCs):

MUST DOS BEFORE FRIDAY TEA TIME
    (bits in red are done)
    1. clean the main bits of the bathroom, incl the floor
    2. declutter and mop the kitchen floor
    3. declutter a chair in the living room and wipe the fire place
    4. tidy the dining room to the point where we can use it
    5. clear my stuff out of DS1's room (it used to be our bedroom) and ideally finish painting the walls
    6. declutter the floor and desk in DS2's room
    7. dig out the home insurance documents and claim for the stuff in the freezer, if possiblenot worth it, due to high excess
    8. get the freezer repaired (fingers crossed) – have got phone numbers
    9. write a list for DH to work through on his day off (Thursday)
    10. put clean and dry washing away
    11. wipe freezer inside and out
    12. clean walls, skirting and floor behind freezer
Monday Madness ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
    Level One
    Done
also wiped handrail and cleared shoes away
Tooooooooooooosday ~ Kitchen and Dining room!
    Level One

also put leaflets in 200ish papers for DS1, unloaded and reloaded DW, started WM, emptied all bins, replaced bin liners (old plastic bags) and washed bathroom bin
Wednesday ~ Master bedroom and landing
Not urgent (visitor won’t come in here). Will focus on my own list and catch up at the weekend.

Hope you all have a good day and anyone poorly feels better.

Dusty - LO is ok, still not 100% though, she had an ear infection last week though. doctor couldnt believe she had managed to get an ear infection when she was on antibiotics and antivirals:rolleyes:
My dad is on the mend, it is taking a while though, he still cant do very much and is getting quite frustrated.
Hope everyone is ok, havent even been lurking on the thread this week so dont know who is doing what. Hugs to all those in need.

    Morning all

Pen Pen - thank you - what a lovely picture!

I'm sneezing away this morning. I think it's all the dust in the house because I've done precious little except floorboards for the last 9 days (I've S&Sd the kitchen to that it's hygienic but that's about it).

I WILL have the scrubbing finished today - and the varnishing by tomorrow lunchtime. I have a meeting here on Friday morning so it's got to be done by then! Plus I'm REALLY fed up with it now....

Hopefully DS and I will pick up the keys at lunchtime.....

Vibes Soappie for completion. Usually, if monies have been released the mortgage is in place.....the solicitor should simply transfer the cash over, job done. Im praying for you thats the case and it goes as smoothly as possible xxx

    Hi :j
Hope everyone is OK. Bedding is in WM

Fire alarm at our block of flats went off at 1.00am and we all had to evacuate the building. Whilst standing on the seaside watching the twinkling lighthouses of the French coast was ALMOST romantic first time, it certainly wasn't when the alarms went off again at 4.00am ; both false alarms thankfully.

However, I can confirm this week that I have not only checked the flat's smoke alarms (Level 1), but have fully practised the fire evacuation procedure; we are on the 7th floor!

The thought of scrabbling under the bed today dragging out my shoes does not seem very appealing at the moment.

Hope you all had a quieter start to Wednesday.
