Tesco Clubcard Deals

Some time ago I got £30 approx in tesco clubcard vouchers after I earned some extra points buying some tesco mobile phones. I then in turn sold these vouchers on eBay stating that I would exchange them for clubcard deals of their choice. The winner of the auction asked for MFI vouchers because at the time they did not have any name printed on them and I assumed they were putting them towards some furniture etc.

Well the boot is on the other foot now and I would like to get some clubcard vouchers etc (my family have some that I could buy of them) but reading in Tesco's clubcard deals booklet that came today places like MFI and Goldsmiths are stating that your name will be put on the vouchers.

Is this the case? Or is this just a scare tactic?

Is there any way around it in true MSE style?

I think its up to the discretion of the local MFI some people get away with some don't, if its MFI prob best check your local MFI and ask them.

They might say yes

They do put the name on them and I know that the last people who used them in MFI had to prove who they were before they could use them. However, they did not have to have the goods delivered to their own address.
