Cake help please!

Hi All! I made a lovely rocky road cake last week for a charity bake sale and I have five bars of (cheap!) milk chocolate left and loads of digestives. What I'd like to make is a layered cake, bottom layer something like butter & digstive, middle layer caramel and top layer melted chocolate.

But...I don't have any golden syrup or condensed milk  (I do have brown sugar?) does anyone have a recipe for a 'fridge cake' which doesn't need these ingredients? Ta :)

I have a receipe to try out for a chocolate fridge cake which uses, digestives biscuits, syrup, butter, raisins or marshmallows and chocolate. I have only found this on a website and still want to try this. Not sure if it would work without syrup but I can put give you the receipe if you wish to try.
