Cheap Lager at Asda?????

Whilst browsing the Asda grocery website last night, I noticed there had been an error with the price on some Becks and San Miguel bottled lager - both were selling for a little under £2 a crate!
Having seen an opportunity to stock up for Christmas, i bought a 'few'!
The price has today gone back up to the correct price, although I have an email quoting the cheaper price.
The payment does not get taken until the delivery driver returns back to the shop on the day of delivery, and the website states that prices may change between order date and delivery date so I suppose covers themselves?
What chances do I have of getting the lager for the cheaper price anyone know?
I have tried ringing Asda and can't seem to get a definitive answer.
I can always refuse the delivery although I like the idea of a bargain aswell. The order can be cancelled up to a day before delivery and its due on Wednesday.:beer:

From own experience you will be charged the new higher price, but worth a try and If you
are return them and complain to head office. Good Luck

I saw this and ordered 36 crates (split over max 12 crates per order) plus 2 bottles of Speckled Hen to take the order over the minimum £25.

Supposed to be delivered between 10am and 12pm and no signs of a delivery by 3pm! Checked online and my order status is "cancelled". Nice of them to tell me! Do I have a leg to stand on to get my order at the original £1.99 price?

I had this problem when the speckled hen was on at £1.21 for a pack of 4. I order my max of 12 packs but got charged £4.98 per pack. I accepted delivery (as you can return to store for a refund) telephoned CS and they agreed to refund the difference. HTH
