MBAM is one of the better malware scanners out there. Years ago, it saved my computer from a rootkit trojan that AntiVir couldn't deal with. I use MBAM with A-Squared Free, Spybot: Search & Destroy. I used to use AdAware, and until recently Antivir with its realtime Guard - but I got tired of the popups and started using MBAM's realtime guard.
