Buying a present for a moneysaver

Hello everybody

I am new to this forums I am a recent convert to moneysaving. The reason I post though is it is my Dads birthday coming up soon and he is a massive moneysaving expert and I am stumped on what to get him. I was hoping to pool your extensive knowledge & maybe be able to help me come up with some innovative birthday presents ideas for a serious moneysaver!

He already has Martins book (2 copies!)

Thanks for your help in advance.

;)

There is a book called "how to buy and sell almost anything" which he might enjoy as a reference book.

Or "The Money Secret" by Rob Parsons.

An Amaerican book called "Are you being seduced into Debt" by John Cummutta but it is quite expensive on Amazon.co.uk
    "This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA
    Preemie hats - 2.
  • Thanks for your help. He likes trains, moneysaving, counting his money, green & in his 50's.
  • I've just checked his book shelf & he's got the Rob Parsons books but I'll definately look up the others.

does he like models? if he does, you could get him a model railway with a starter say the LNER or the flying scotsman? - good hobby aswell :p also could get him some power tools if hes in to that, could get him fishing gear if he likes that, golf is a good relaxing sport aswell. Some kind of safe for money, novelty things n that.

it all depends on what your budget is though - i mean, we could say ideas costing £100 but you might nto want to spend more than £40 so it is hard for us to provide info :)
