  • I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:
  • Does anyone know if The Hut are authorised stockists? I looked on UGG Australia website and they are not listed, I'm terribly worried about buying fakes?

Same here, looking at uggaustralia site, The Hut isnt recognised as an official retailer.
  • 'The Hut has confirmed the Uggs are genuine, but as it imports them from abroad it cannot be classed as an official UK retailer.'

    From the Ugg deals page:

  • I just receieved some Chocolate Tall, used the code and felt chuffed I got a bargain. But looking at them carefully I am not sure they are genuine, despite what the Hut says. They came with a card stating 'find the authenticity label and check the sun symbols change colour'. The label inside the boot was a basic 'made in China', and the UGG label on one of the heels is very slightly off set, if I am picking totally picky. The label could be as it is an 'import' but surely if it was a genuine import the label should match the official UGG ones? I like a bargain but I feel that spending over £100 on a fake is pointless, I would rather save up more for the dearer real ones.

Did the sundial thing change colour? From black to White and vice versa when turned 90 degrees isn't it?
  • Where is the sundial? I thought it meant somewhere on the label which is inside the boot, and there was no UGG or sun symbols on that label, just 'made in China'. Maybe I am missing it. Where is it meant to be?

I have my dd's brand new uggs here 100% genuine from a uk stockist, the labels are thin plasticky, the left foot only has a hologram on a smaller tag in front of the size one.The holgram is silver with suns on it, in the right light you can see UGG written over the suns.
  • Thanks, I have checked again and in the left foot there are the suns which appear to change colour! You can also see 'UGG' through the hologram.

However the left foot heel label is also wonky, by which I mean not dead on to look at, slightly more to the inside of the foot, and the seam doesn't run up the dead centre of the back, slightly to the inside again. So these small differences may be the reason for the cheap cost from The Hut, but hopefully they are the real deal with the suns being there.

If your happy to drop your standards because of the price thats fine but they didn't advertise these as "factory seconds" and mention "mistakes and errors in the boot" or did they?
