i wanna guitar for kids to learn on any help?

Hiya my daughter has a three quarter sized guitar but it's not great and goes out of tune easily. Can anyone recommend a full size make that wouldn't cost too much and keep in tune better? acoustic

Second hand or new.

Thanks

    Hey there.

Ok I am unable to actually link you to anything, but if you were to copy and paste:

Takamine Jasmine ES31C Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Black :j

into Google, you should find the EXACT guitar that I currently own. I own 4 and this is my least expensive, this is also what I mostly play on because the others I am so careful about. But all my practice and everything is on this guitar. It almost NEVER goes out of tune, has a great feel, cutaways are awesome and is just an excellent really well made guitar all around. And it is so cheap, you could buy a low end Taylor (very big brand) that would sound and feel almost identical for $1000 more.

So searching for something like that, I think I saw a few for sale online, would be my advice. ;)

Great guitar... almost too nice. I did see a deal on that one but it's been sold. If you can find that in your price range definitely go for it.

Having the guitar be a cutaway is not that important, as you generally don't go that high up the fretboard until well into Intermediate level. Still it does make some songs easier to play :)

But yeh if you find it in your price range, then snap it up.

From my limited knowledge of guitars, you generally get more for your money buying a used 'well known' brand rather then brand new, which tend (where cheaper) to be poorer quality and often chinese knockoffs.

This place http://www.guitars.co.uk/forum/ is a quite 'techy' in places, but it's full of knowledgable people and I'm sure they'll be able to recommend some suitable guitars. :)
