Kronenbourg 1664 24*330ml - £7.99 (less than half price)

I posted something similar (same offer only £8.99 last time) 2 weeks ago.

This is a FANTASTIC offer and I for one will be going down to stock up again !!!!! :beer:
Netto are selling 24*330ml Kronenbourg 1664 for £7.99 as of this Thursday (18th May). It looks like the offer is only open for 3 days (last time I went down on the Thursday the pallet was half empty).

This looks good when compared to others like Tesco as it looks like it's nearly half price (Tesco sell 20*300ml for £14.29) but if you do the maths it is actually substantially LESS than half price.

Tesco - 20*300ml - £14.29 ie 23.8p/100ml
Netto - 24*330ml - £7.99 ie 10.1p/100ml


Also noticed that they are doing Baileys 1LTR (as of Mon 22nd) at £9.99 (not my thing but will get some for OH). At Tesco it's currently £16.48 for 1 LTR.


I must stress that I do NOT have any involvement with Netto (until 2 weeks ago I had NEVER set foot in any of their stores). However I am keeping my eyes peeled on their drink offers as they seem to wipe the floor with recognised brands compared to the other retailers.

Very often our local Netto gets the offers in the day before they are due to start.

Great price even if it is for the UK pish version as I need some cheap beers to drink during the world cup and if it's half the price I can afford to drink twice as much!

My local Netto still have stock of the imported stuff at £8.99 for 24 bottles. Lovely stuff and definitely worth the slight premium if still available in your local store.

Get down there fast, this is the proper brewed in Strasbourgh beer and not UK brewed.

Got 6 cases out of the last 8 at my local store
