RAC have agreed to refund the payment they took from my account when the MBNA people called them. I must confess that I told a teeny white lie and said I had told them over the phone in March that I wanted to cancel - when infact I had said I would probably be cancelling .Anyhow it's my conscience ....:o

It astounds me that even though I have not made a single claim and paid via credit card for the last 6 years that my premium has increased every single year - it's the usual case of offers being available only to new customers so I guess it's time to become a new customer somewhere else !

Anyone got any recommendations for a cheap but reliable cover ??

    Thanks to all for replying.

Just joined up with Autoaid for £32 - so have saved approx £66 !

And .... I have just been told I have won £50 in the work sports and social draw.

I have just in the last 5 minutes renewed my car insurance at a very good price with More Than and also got 50% off breakdown cover as well, £32 for the year and thats with Euopean cover.

I have had my car insurance with the Halifax Bank for years and it keeps going up and up, and in 37 years of driving never made a claim, I also had Green Flag through them as well, on getting my renewal I have found out that its £20 more to get Green Flag breakdown cover (without Euopean cover) through the Halifax than it is through Green Flag direct, what a rip off, cheating Bu**ers...
Aiming to be debt free....but still off target
