thanks for that it has put my mind at ease. i just look forward to it all being sorted out paying my contribution to the trust deed and getting on with things again. this forum is so good for learning about how it all works and helping you feel that you arent the only one in debt.

No you are definatley not alone and there are people on here from all walks of life. It happens to a lot of folk regardless of education/profession.
Sure we all wish we were not in the mess that we are in but we have all in the main lived beyond our means and been encouraged to do so by the finance houses whilst times were good and they were lining their pockets.
Now things are not quite so rosie in the garden they seem to be whistleing a different tune all of a sudden;)
I take full responsibility for my debt but feel that i was more than helped along the way by the finance houses who encouraged my previous financial irresponsibility.
Still I have now seen the error of my ways and am slowly but surely digging myself out of the hole instead of digging myself in deeper.
