I wish I knew the answer to this one, I have tried to apply for a job needing the Native Speaker test as well. If I go to the shopper testing centre and click on the Native English Uk speaker test it just comes up as no matches found. Like you I already have the bare basics and English qualification.

So what have you done, just ignored it? I'm sure that's why I dont get accepted for the jobs I apply (lol). Is there any way to contact them by email, do you know?

    Hi,

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Bare? I've applied for a job and it says that I haven't passed the native speaker English test, but I'm sure I have. I have passed the Bare basic and the English test, and the dates are on my board to prove it, so I'm unsure what they are referring to. Can anyone help?................

I had this in an email when I first joined way back....might be useful...

Me neither, I didn't get the coffee shop or the historical one, it must have been that Squidge character I reckon ;)

I was on a bit of a roll with ESA until now as well. I was getting 50% of the jobs I applied for. Oh well.
Guilty as charged :embarasse:embarasse... but it's the 1st time I have been allocated anything from them in weeks. The only jobs I've had for ages are the long distance ones that nobody wants.

    hey,
has anyone done the pharmacy jobs with esa before? thinking of taking a day off my 'real' job and doing a few (provided I get accepted of course!). Just wondered how long it takes to actually do the visit and enter the results. Seen there is 140 questions!!! thanks

I would allow an hour each job but if the pharmacy is busy you must expect to wait. Plus the travelling time between. Reports don't take long to write up and alot of the questions are tick boxes about availabilty.

Just a thought to consider......if you take a day off your job to do all the pharmacies in your area this month you might have pocketed a few pennies but it will be sometime before you will be able to do them again. I think sometimes it is better to pace yourself with the assignments, that way you get variety each month and something is always available to you. Avoids those deadly lows when you have to accept the greasy burger jobs...which fortunately I can now choose never to do!

From what I could gather, on Bare, only US and Canadian residents are considered 'native' English speakers. That is why we are required to do the Basic English test, as we Europeans obviously can't speak Uncle Sam's English! I did email them suggesting that people from UK and Ireland also be exempted from the basic English test but they never replied.

Humpf! Just got an e-mail from PIP re wages and they've paid me less than they originally stated! Not impressed.

On a good note, I also got accepted from Edigital at long last!

Update: E-mailed PIP and received a 'POSTMASTER' e-mail back...with an attachment that contains a virus! (According to the Yahoo! virus scan)

I didn't actually apply for it as it wouldn't let me without the qualification, I had a quick look an email to contact them, but I didn't have a lot of time at that point to figure it out.

Look up this page a bit....I posted you an email link about it and a telephone number.

The test is just a few questions on the phone but you have to apply to them for it....its not on the site.

We all have to share them and wait inbetween so your turn will come.

Many companies limit the number of assignments you can do in one day anyway so that you don't confuse them. So the likely hood is you wouldn't get offered all you applied for if they were the same type.

As they say "all good things come to those who wait" and of course those that are reliable MSers!
