It's certainly very inclusive isnt it!

Still its making me smile - just done three phone calls, and all of them have gone 'wrong' somehow, be it no rooms, or a broken computer system at their end. ARGHHHHHHH!!
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Is it common to receive emails in (what looks like) Spanish from Bare. I believe it is advising an assignment in Brazil. Cannot remember ticking the south America box as my area.

    Hi Max,

Glad to see you found the thread! :D

All, in case you're wondering, Helion has been founded by a former employee of a worldwide MSing company (with it's EU office in Belgium), that many of us have worked for in the past.

Take a look at their site, and maybe signup. I know Max is very keen for feedback on the site and on the signup process.

(and no, I don't work for him, I'm just keen for his new venture to work out for him!).

The sign up process was very good and easy to follow. I just had some issues getting the job details to store but third time lucky it worked. Also is it possible to store job details without company name? I didnt risk it after it not working twice but I would have preferred to not put the name as if I list my next last job I am unable to give name of company for something like that as I did have level defence work. Maybe its worth looking at the design of this section. Anyhow dont get me started on website design geek-ness as I am STILL working on getting my online website and business up and running and its taking SOOOOO long

I had a snotty "your visit is cancelled because you ignored us" email a few days ago but I have just been into my visits & it is still there . Do I go or not ??? Could really do with phoning them..

sorry i dont have a number i lost 4 sueprmarket jobs last weekend as i was away when links came through so they decided that meant i didnt want to do the work

on a better note i am glad i was stuck in due to rain as i have a big audit now for company we cannot name. I know it is going to be lengthy so if anyone else is in the same boat and has done it before so can tell me what to expect and any tips to help I would greatly appreciate it. please PM me :)

Oh well, thanks Angel. Part of me wants to say sod you anyway. 24 Hours is very short time to respond. Maybe they think we all sit here waiting for them with nothing else to do!

Thanks Squeaky for your reply about ABAI. I phoned them and the lady I spoke to was really nice. I am going to go back and do the missed part tomorrow morning - yes, it was the order instore part! Have just picked up a very quick job in the same town so it won't be so bad going back :j

Hi people. I've just registered with GAPbuster and tern. I've completed the initiation bit on GAPbuster fairly easily but Tern want me to do a test shop before i get assignments which i'm unsure about. Anyway GAPbuster dont have anything in my area, perhaps because I'm in a small town in scotland. i would do glasgow though but there isnt much there either. Anyway what I'm wondering is there any companies that have more coverage? And are they as easy to start with as GAPbuster?

There aren't many jobs on Gap at the moment. If you keep an eye on the alerts thread, then you should be able to grab some, next time they do an upload.

If you're looking for another company that is easy to sign up with, then Retail Eyes are quick in this respect. Their fees are pretty poor and questionnaires tend to be tedious, but they are self assign which makes them a good one to start with. If you would like a referral to RE, then please PM me your name and email address.
