    Good morning everyone
Beginners question I'm afraid, bear with me.
Have my first job with abai today but a couple of things unclear in the briefing notes. Can I open the questionnaire before the job to read through? Will I still be able to access it after the job?

    Thanks in advance

One of the downsides of Aba is you can only access first page of questionnaire...pm me if you want to ask something specific and I will try to help.

Anybody having trouble with Retail Eyes web!!!!!?

    Hi,

I am. None of the jobs come up on my page. I have to go to learn more about jobs link and then I can see some of the jobs that are being offered. Only discovered this yesterday as I've spent a week missing out on jobs. However, I'm still not seeing any of the ones on the alerts.

Also RE seem to have changed the time they release jobs again!!!

Thanks for the tip; suddenly seeing rather a lot of extra jobs (compared to the 5 pubs I had before). It seems they reset the favourites settings - I've just turned mine back on so that it displays all and now I can see lots of jobs again (relatively speaking anyway).

Just to add to some of the above comments, another thing which is very often overlooked and not taken into consideration is the time involved in reading briefing notes to make sure you know exactly what you are supposed to be doing and remembering everything.

I nearly messed a job up recently where I had left reading the notes to the last minute because I had several to do that day and got a bit muddled up.

One job on its own isn't so bad but if you've got 6 or 7 (or more!) on the trot it's very easily done if the preperation isn't done thoroughly!

Key skills needed are being organised and methodical otherwise the brain gets terribly confused.

"A lot of work for very little return"

Yes that can be MSing -or it can be additional income for a bit of extra effort.
To be honest if you want to increse your income significantly regardless of the means I suspect you'll need to be a bit more motivated and put the effort in.

I work part-time and supplement my income by various means -including mystery shopping, matched betting as mentioned in this thread. Some months my "extra" income is double or triple my basic wage -that may work for you or you may need to improve your general prospects in the job market and work harder that way. TBH though you never hear Richard Branson or Alan Sugar say-"I wanted to make money from little effort" they both worked (and still work) their butts off.

    Duchy,

You seem to have missed my point. Ofcourse everyone needs to work hard to make money. But there is a difference between working smart and working every hour god sends! There is a difference between someone who continuously works for McDonalds 7 days a week and someone who sets up a business with several people working for him and making him richer.

The people that own RE are doing fantastic. They have arranged a few jobs and brought together a bunch of people who are prepared to go to various shops and write reports on the level of service provided.

No dubt RE takes a cut from each MS. I'd rather be RE then a MS, they are leveraging on hundreds of people's hard work.

It is that important word, leverage.

Last night i was able to view a number of jobs that appeared on RE. I am actually going to have a go at MS despite having said the above. It seems like a good experience and with a number of jobs all in one place I see no reason why one can't do 5-10 in one location.

I don't believe I will get rich from this, but it will help build a decent pot of money to go and do something even bigger. That is the idea anyway.

I've had no jobs showing for a week, now I know why. thanks
