Hi - I am a newbie to mystery shopping and have what is probably a very simple question.

I am thinking of taking up my first job with retail eyes as a pub lunch. I know I can get a reimbursment for my meal if I upload a receipt. If I take my wife with me and she buys a meal as well can we get it on the same receipt?

Yes. thats OK. (You won't get paid for hers though!)

If it is like the ones I usually do, the reimbursment and the fee is enough to cover both meals!

hi I hope you dont mind me asking, but has anyone been paid by Gap yet? I know they are the end of the month, but Ive been 'let go' by them so im worried they might not pay me for all the jobs I did at the beginning of the month. Im expecting a fair bit, but I get get intouch with them and cant view my profile anymore or assignments.

I would phone them to ask and also get them to send you a list of all your completed assignments as you now don't have access to your records which you need.

After all, they can't sack you!!

If you did them at the beginning of this month (October) you won't be paid for them until the end of November. I got paid on the 22nd of this month by them so you can expect something around the 22nd Nov.

I'm sure they will pay you for the jobs but best to make sure you have accurate records of everything you did and total up how much you're expecting so you know.

Also, they have to pay you for jobs you completed unless they weren't done in accordance with the brief as they had an agreement with you so they can't refuse.

I agree with this. I put it all on one receipt (2 meals + included drinks and 1 extra drink) which came to just over the reimbursement but I got paid the full amount.
