Half Price Dining Out in London
If you live in or around London and eat out more than twice a year, you've got to buy a Taste card. My girlfriend saw an article about it in Glamour magazine and bought one. Basically, it saves 50% off dining out at over 400 restaurants in London, and costs £69.95 to buy. We've used ours twice so far and saved around £25 each time, so we've only got to use it once more to break even.
It lasts for 12 months and we've had ours for a week - so we'll definitely save a few quid.

I've just been on the site and bought one - most of my fave restaurants are on so should save me a packet. Fantastic.

or you could save the £70 and check out the deals on https://www.toptable.co.uk - they always have a slection of 50% off food deals going on. Plus you can now get cashback via pigsback (and possibly other sites) and they also have their own reward scheme going - eat out seven times (or so) and you qualify for a free meal.
Also be careful with that card scheme - at a lot of the more upmarket places, it seems the card is only valid once, on your first visit.Snootchie Bootchies!0 -
If you go to https://www.tastelondon.co.uk/metro today the card is only £44.95. A saving of £25.
With regards to toptable mentioned above. They are indeed a great service - especially the 360° view feature - and I have used them many times (I'm actually a toptable VIP which appears to mean not very much!)
However, the 50% off deals on Toptable are very often only at set times, nearly always excluding weekends. Also, they are often set menus - always disappointing when presented with a limited choice instead of the full menu.BE NICE - IT'S FREE!0
