I wanna fridge/freezer water filter

Looking to replace my water filter for my LG fridge freezer. Been just over the recommended six months now and needing advice. Have found one from discount fridge filters for £13.50 with free delivery. It says its compatible but will it be as good as the original? Can anyone recommend anywhere else to try?
