I started doing Ebay as a business at the end of 2007 and have to pay a tax bill from then til April 5th 2008, and then from April 6th 08 to April 2009.

I'm confused what I do now about April 6th 2009 onwards.
Do I have to work out my profits from then til the end of Oct this year, or to the end of Jan 2010.

I am finding it all very complicated.

Any help is much appreciated.

I assume you're talking about self-assessment?

So for the tax year 09/10 you'd have to include any income from 6th April 2009- 5th April 2010, but you can't file this until after April 2010, and don't need to until Jan 2011 (at the latest)
