Thorntons Chocolates Christmas Offer - half price

Hi, done a search, but can't find this anywhere else.
Thorntons have their Christmas chocolate selection box (36 chocolates) on offer for a limited time down to £5 from £10.
It doesn't say when the offer ends, and at the time of writing this, they are still in stock.
Would make a lovely xmas pressie, and they are gluten free and alcohol free so everyone can enjoy :beer:

Debt 1: Personal Loan £88 per month til 2010
Debt 2: Overdraft of £900 limit, now down to £500, should be down to £200 by end of April and then cleared end of May

Can anybody tell me if the use by date is likely to be after Christmas? I'd hate to buy them for pressies and end up having to eat them all myself!!!0

Yes it is, have had these in the past and the date is always after xmas 0 usually until Feb/March time.0 -
M&S had some lovely boxes of chocolates at half price last time I went in.
The cream boxes (Lindt) were on offer at under £4 and the red boxes (Thorntons) at £4 something. I've not had the red boxes but have had the cream ones, they are lovely, ideal for Christmas pressies as the BB date is April next year.0 -
asda boxes are also doing of thorntons choccies for £2.handy for stocking fillers ect0

They have these in my local Thorntons and the date on the ones I checked yesterday was - April 2010.0

Sainsburys have large boxes of Thorntons chocolates half price not sure if they are the same ones as these are £5.49. I am not sure how long offer is for but i was at work tonight and just noticed this offer when filling them up. Made a note to myself to get a few boxes for xmas pressies.0

I was browsing in my local store yesterday and they had the same box but a Mint Selection. They didnt have these out last week!
