Knitting... again!

Can someone help me out?

I am looking at a knitting pattern (at Kepms) for a funky little bag that I have seen and the pattern says 'balls of wool required 3/3'

http://www.kempswoolshop.com/pattern_details.aspx?selectedItemID=-83544652&picture=patons3181&desc=Coast/Aran 3181

Does that mean 3 balls of one wool and 3 of another? Or just 3 in total? Although the pic isn't that clear, it looks like it is 2 different types. So which type of wool do I need that 'goes' with the fluffy Coast range?!

Any advice gratefully received!!!!
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Looking at the way it is written with Coast/Aran at the top and then 3/3, 5/2 I would think it means how many of Coast/how many of Aran ? How thick is Coast wool, as the pattern does say you will need more of heavier weight wool ?
hth, someone else will be along soon to confirm!

Orkney - I think you're right; I've been puzzling about this for ages! Crawley Girl - why not email Kemps and ask them to clarify the pattern requirements? I've had to email them in the past about posting overseas, and they've always replied promptly.
