Hi
I'm trying to book a weekend away somewhere in the North or Scotland. We'll be travelling with our 5 month old baby so we want to go somewhere that's not too far from home (Newcastle).
We're after someting fairly cheap for 2 nights in June. I've tried some holiday parks but they seem quite expensive for just the 3 of us... Does anyone know any holiday park deals? or are any hotel chains running offers at the moment? Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks

hi
myself my husband and my 20 month old have just come back from 3 nights in burton in kendal travelodge, it cost us £30. The rooms are nice and plenty big enough for the travel cot. It depends whether you just wanted to use it as a base to explore or whether you want entertainment. This particular one is about 10 miles from kendal, and the same from lancaster and morecambe, we had a day in each, it was magic. i don't know what the availability is, and you have to book 21 days in advance but hth
ps- the travelodge we stayed in had a moto services across the carpark which has a free baby feeding area, where you get free babyfood and and a microwave to warm it up.It's definitely not definately!0
