What are my chances?

Options
Hiya

I've been renting with my husband at £500pcm since I was 16yr6mo and I'm now 20yr4mo, so I make that £23000 down the drain  Never added that up before and it's quite a shock!

We both have semi-poor credit, missed payments on my part and missed payments and one settled default on OHs part. No missed payments since February and AIUI the default will be coming off sometime this year (something about only staying on there for 6 years?).

I have never had a proper full time job that lasted more than 6 months, I did a lot of temping whilst I was pg at 17 and then we set up as self-employed last year. OH has had a full time permenant position for 3 years but has just given up it up to work at the same place as a self-employed consultant (part of our business) earning twice as much.

So we have one year of accounts, and we're hoping to buy next year when we have two years of accounts.

As you will see from my signiture we are also £10K in debt but will be debt free by December.

We really want to buy after next april, what are our chances?

Please don't laugh :o
