I don't have any candles left and I love candlesicon9.gif. Plus the toiletries I have are of the hair and skincare variety, am running out of shower gel and body lotion. I need them so I can smell nice. icon9.gif

Yep, I love candles too & smelling nice ... but £100 worth , halve the cost & put the rest into your isa .

I only say this because I [STRIKE]want to come & stay at your house to avoid my relatives[/STRIKE] care & not because I am a bitter & twisted gin soaked old bat :D

Hmm, I am doing some internet shopping, so far I have £100 worth of toiletries and candles in my basket (well about £150 worth reduced to £100) What to do? I really want them:o. I am being frugal next year so this will be my only chance:o

    Don't do it!

That is a huge amount to spend on non-essential items.

You already have loads of stuff for a house that you will never own if you continue to buy stuff for it.

Starting new plans next week/month is never going to be the solution, you have to start the plan NOW.

    Please don't buy those things!

    PS Hello everyone :hello:

And that ^ is exactly how to avoid manic, frenzied, out of control, gotta have it style shopping. Well done :A, if you still really want the items tomorrow & know that they will last then it is 'thoughtful' shopping & therefore permissable.

Need to go to bed now but will be back tomorrow to hear your confession

Just think of me as your personal check-out girl :rotfl:

Sorry Sarahb, I agree with the others. Not so long ago, I had over £100 worth of half price TIGI hair products in my online basket. I sat and thought about it and realised that I might not like or want those products by the time I get to the 3rd bottle. Also, (can't remember who said it) but where would you put it all? Until you use it all, it's just more clutter.

If you've got lots of other toiletries that you haven't used, isn't there a chance that might also happen here? You want a house, that's what you really want, not a drawer full of candles and shower gel. That's too much to spend, if you really must buy something do, but not £100  Way, way, way too much.

    Gwenx

PS. I like M&S candles when I'm feeling flush or Ikea ones when I'm not....mainly Ikea then....
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

No we're just friends, we do both admit to fancying each other but I like her bf so won't be doing anything naughty with her. However when they split up...

Sarah: STEP AWAY FROM THE CANDLES!!!

Seriously, you'll find cheaper, nicer, more beautiful candles in the sales at New Year. Then you'll just kick yourself for wasting money. Just think about all the other things you could do with that £100....
