Credit card limit

I have just read a post that said if the credit card company up your credit limit without you asking for it then the loan could be unenforceable! Could anyone confirm this please. I don't want to wriggle out of my debts but I do think the credit card company's are partly to blame for people over borrowing. If I could get shut of the two big cards then life would be ok. Start a second job next week so will be working towards being debt free.

Did you ring them asking to lower the limit again because you couldn't trust yourself to not spend up to the new limit?
Well done on getting a second job
I'm impressed you managed to find a second job at the moment. It will be hard sticking to 2 jobs but if you just think, this time next year you will be a lto closer to being debt free

I know people judge people for running up debts, but when your wife has breast cancer and you need to pay the bills what do you do. She is back at work now but we are in a bit of a fix at the minute. Still upto date with everything, master juggler at present but can see the balls dropping at present. Hopefully the second job should help!0

Just to clarify I wasn't judging you. I know how easily debts can mount up.
I think it would be a good idea for you to post on here a bit of a more in depth story so people will be able to point out other areas where you could save money that can then go towards the debts.
Once its all in writing its easier to see what areas you waste money in. I, for instance, used to spend £200 a month on food. £20 here and £30 there didn't seem like much, but added up it was a fortune (to me anyway). I know do one big monthly shop and just pick up milk veg etc during the week. Managed to get my monthly shop down to £90. So that was £110 saving just in one area. This is my signature.
