Is there anything I can do? I leant my breadmaker to my mum a few months ago and I've just got it back, it appears when she put the paddle in she's jammed it on the wrong way and now it won't come out .
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get it out again so that I can clean it out properly, it seems that the dough/dry mix gets stuck in it and round it.

Banana Lovers
Buy your bananas in bunches of 5 on Sunday. Then arrange them in order of ripeness and write a day of the week on each banana in felt pen, Monday on the ripest, Friday on the greenest to save time making those decisions on a hectic weekday morning

Put in some warm soapy water and leave it to soak
Soak around the spindle with cheap cooking oil
Hold the mechanism that juts from underneath with pliers, while turning the paddle by hand (or using second set of pliers, protecting the paddle with some wadding)
Hope one of those works

First thing that I would do is to get as much of the dried dough off by boiling a kettle and filling the pan with boiling water and leave for an hour then pour out.
The only thing that I can think of to free the paddle is either to rub around the base with plenty of cooking oil or neat washing up liquid to try to free it.
HTH xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
