im wondering if anyone can give me a bit of advise. i have car finance through welcome, i know very stupid,we are terminating the agreement as we have paid enough to end. we had some arrears which we got down to being just under £30 they have sent a letter advising we need to pay £322 with no break down of what this is for. on speaking to them they say it is arrears and non payment fees etc but cant send a breakdown i have never been advised of any fees that are being added to account other than £10 letter fees which there were not many of.is there any thing we can do as they are just telling us the same thing over, we have to pay,and even said looking at our account the ammount requested is lower than what it probably should be and to pay it.any advise would be grateful and yes ive learnt my lesson, no more dealings with welcome finance.

Wecome Finance are a bunch of money grabbing cowboys! I had a letter a few days ago saying i owe them £420 odd, and they didnt even have the curtosy to explain why!

They KNOW they've got to give you a breakdown of what you owe and why, so just stay on their case. Maybe threaten to contact the FSA? Maybe contact the FSA?!
