Motorcycle business

Hi guys,

I am thinking of setting up an online motorcycle business, whilst still working full time.

It will be a place where you can buy motorcycle accessories, such as leathers, helmets, gloves, boots etc.

Does anybody know what the best way to start is?

I take it you have access to an ongoing large range of cut price motor cycle apparell from various international brands and as such are therefore looking to understand the mechanics of running a website or the scale and complexity required for this?

Also, out of curiosity, i just typed in motorcycle helmets into google.co.uk and got 277,000 hits, so what will your key differentiators be between all those other established suppliers and you be?

Hi,

I'd start with getting the site info out to local motorbike clubs etc, try and see if you can get leaflets out at bike shows (not sure if they will let you do this) could try going round the carpark at the NEC bike show sticking leaflets under windscreen wipers on the cars etc.

Why not try facebook, get a group going and then get your mates to become fans of it.

Just need to get the site info out as far and wide as you can so its not just on google
