OT , but does anyone have Vefa's kitchen ??

Its a cookery book for greek recipies , I did try to see it in town today but no luck ,
I've been promised this for a possible birthday pressie , but wanted to know if it was worth it ??

    If you want a very comprehensive book it's good - but not many pictures. I have the Italian "The Silver Spoon" in the same series and that one is fast becoming my bible. If you love Greek food and want nothing else then it's good - but it's more like GH etc rather than a modern cookery book - TBH I would try to have a look at it first.

    It is a huge book.
    I have the Silver Spoon and The Spanish one (1080 recipes) and they give a huge knowledge into the cuisine of that country.
    Depends how in depth you want to go.....I would look at it first to make sure you would use it....I looked at it in Waterstones.
