Hi, Im getting dishcharged on the 24th this month after a long year of bankruptcy. I applied for an ISA a little while ago and was turned down due to my bankruptcy, I was quite shocked as I didnt want credit just somewhere to save. Does anyone know of an ISA I can open now? If not will I be able to open one after the 24th? Thanks in advance
Jessica

Thanks for that, I hope I dont have to wait the whole 6 years for it to come off my file before I can get one! Ive got a savings account but its a really basic thing that comes with my nationwide account (rubbish interest rate but not much in the account anyway!), was just hoping to get an ISA now im finally starting to sort myself out. Thanks again.0

remember though what the banks give one may not always be a guarantee you will get...before you start applying leave it a month or so after discharge & look at the credit file cleanup sticky at the top of the forum....We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
