NRP opts out of employment

No, because it's not income - it's pocket money her rich partner chooses to give her.
If the NRPP has a ltd company then you can buy annual accounts from companies house, they will also have details of who the shareholders are.

if that's the case, all the csa have to do is look up with the IR to see if she's being paid by the ltd.co.
takes them about 2 mins as they share info freely between the two agencies.
tell the moron on the phone to do a check with the IR.
if you put the request in writing, be sure not to do it in joined up writing. it's far too taxing for them.best use crayons and BIG capital letters. :rotfl:NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.

They might share info between the two agencies but that is not the evidence in my case - it's taken a Tribunal to demand to see my NRPs tax returns.
A thought occurred to me the other day speedster - I do hope all this CSA stuff doesn't bit your on the behind if you ever get custody of your little one and realise how truly crap they are to some PWCs

HI all, Love the comments on the IR, they are as bad as the CSA. He has a limited company but she is not officially employed. His is a cash business shall we say. We could get the IR to check his declared personal income against the Ltd company drawings to prove that eoither he is a crook, or that she must earn her own money becuase his delcared income couldn't support her the way she claims; but that just proves he is a crook. The tribunal chaireman and attending CSA representative basically said it seemed like a matter for the IR; but I couldnt care less how he wants to lead his life. Besides, you could hand the IR something on a silver platter and they would still do nothing. I read somewhere that if you have shared residence that it could be possible to get a claim on us overturned. ANyone know if thats true? There are actually two children involved. One lives with us full time, no overnight contact. There is shared residency of the other, who we have nearly half the time. But we pay her....0
-
sorry, to add... We pay her because she has no assessable income for the child that lives with us; and our income is assessable for the child that technically lives with her.0

it takes a lot of your emotional input though (and financial in a lot of cases); at some point you have to say "is this worth it?" I'd like to say we've always been good at being the bigger people and these days we do just let her get on with it as its only us who loses out, but i want to give up work to look after my young boys and things would be a little less tight without her £200 going out every month.0

i'd like to be like that, but i've had 7 years of that woman. she only set the csa on me out of greed and it's backfired on her, but she still insists on trying to get them to destroy me.
she knows she'd get shed loads more off me without their involvement, but is continuing to cut her nose off to spite her face.
that's why payback looms for her.:mad:NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.

If you were ever on the receiving end of truly malicious nasty piece of work you would understand. Speedster, I understand your comment fully.
though I think if/when the day comes your child lives with you, reality is you probably wouldnt bother because you would have peace and your child in your life you probably wouldnt want to touch the csa, payback well you've got that tenfold, your child living with you.
be aware though, I have read on here that sometimes when a child goes to live with the nrp the csa still chase the nrp for payments:eek: and to be honest I believe it:rotfl:0 -
