Find a Mountain Bike - Good Quality for trials use

Looking for a high quality Mountain Bike. Not fussed about brand or year etc Looking for value for money - i've been told it must have very good front forks for trials use. Ideally full suspension but may settle for a hard tail?
If anyones 'up together' on mountain bikes then some pointers would be great and if you spot any bargains please point me in the right direction.
I will need a frams size 18" or 19"

Think there are a couple of threads on mountain bikes and people say aviod full suspension bikes unless you are paying good money as the cheap suspension is !!!!!!
Avoid places like Toys R Us0 -
I would definetly avoid major high st retailers such as Toys R Us & JJB if it is quality you are after.
The best advice would be to go to a local bike shop and ask their advice. Let me know where you are in UK and Ill try and help you out.
Also http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ do good quality stuff for a range of prices.0 -
As above, absolutely avoid the toyshops and sports shops if you need a quality bike for a specific purpose like this. Also avoid Halfords too.
Having said that, the specifications mentioned don't seem to match up to a bike suitable for trials riding. These usually don't even have front suspension (full suspension would be useless for trials, far too heavy and cumbersome). And the frame size on a trials bike is usually something like 14" or so, rather than 18/19" like on a XC bike. Maybe if you give us some more details we can help out a bit more.
Have you thought about building your own, I wonder? Chain Reaction Cyles are great and have a good deal on this Club Roost Stinger XP frame. Their parts are always very cheap too so it wouldn't cost too much to put together your own custom build. And it's more fun than buying one off-the-peg from a shop, too...0
