Deceased's bank account fee caused overdraft - Help!

This is a problem with Barclays Bank, and an account belonged to my father who died recently. I am the excecutor of his will.
He had a current account wirh Barclays, for which he was paying a £12.50 monthly fee (). This account is now frozen, so I can't pay anything into the account, but Barclays are still taking this monthly fee out of the account - and this month it has caused it to go into overdraft.
I have written to Barclays twice and phoned them several times to try and get them to stop taking this account fee. It's an 'Additions' account (which is no longer sold by Barclays), and all the 'benefits' of having this 'premium' account are completely defunct now my father has died - in fact, I couldn't see that they were any use to him when he was alive either, but that is a different issue!) Five monthly fees have been withdrawn since my Dad died, and I am worried that this will just get further and further into overdraft as each monthly fee is taken. Depending on how long probate takes it could be quite a big OD at the end of it, and what about being charged fees?
Is there anything I can do about this? Or anyone I could phone/write to? I am at my wits end having telephoned and being passed around from department to department with no help at all...
