I bought an 8 in 1 Universal Remote Control from Superdrug today for £1.49 in their sale. I can't see who makes it on the packaging but it's not a 'One for all' . It works absolutely fine and was really easy to set up. It's compatible with most brands of TV, DVD, VCR Cable and satellite, Cd player etc.
Hope this is useful to someone.
