26" HD Ready tv. Only £481

I'm not a fan of Acer Products but the reviews on this (can be found if googled) seem pretty good.

not bad for the money. One posible word of warning though. I did read something that sugested it wouldnt be compatible with current Sky HD Boxes! something to look out for!

At the end of the review

It's taken a while but Acer has contacted us to confirm that the AL2671W's DVI port is indeed HDCP compliant, which is good news for anyone in the UK wanting to watch HDTV from Sky in 2006. Acer now just needs to get the manual updated to make this clear.

Not a bad price at all - good spot:T (Although you should at least try to hide the affiliate link)

Quite right - use Quidco instead and get an extra 5% cashback - bringing it down to somthing like £457.66 (excluding delivery)

The contrast ratio 600:1 is poor
The refresh time 16ms is lousy, and while it might be HD compatable it only has 768 horizontal lines, so won't display a 1050 line picture correctly.
A 26inch display is a little on the small side.

If anyone's after a smaller screen, RGB Direct are doing the Toshiba 20WL56 with a free wall mount for £333.93

    I don't think it's bad value.
Why pay more than you have to?

The 32" Hyndai with far more decent specs is 'only' £600 at ebuyer.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

I'm still not sure about the fact its an Acer to be honest... Since seeing that of course i've seen a phillips at 496 which to be fair for and extra 20 odd quid i would imagine is a better buy.

Incidentally, i was in my local Tesco store today, they have a 26" LCD HD Ready Bush TV £399. Argos are doing the same model for £599 - at lease it looks like the same one (Click Here)

Im not sure if its accross all stores but in the Aylesbury Extra Store was where I saw it.
