Hi All!!! I`m back :j Have I missed much, during my 2 weeks in the sun? (apart from loads of manky weather, it seems- really miserable here in South Wales) How is Mad & all the gang? Any good offers that I should know about? Anyway, as I only arrived back at 1am, & my house looks like a bomb has hit it, I`d better continue with the unpacking, washing, shopping, etc etc.......
Hope you had a great time red arrow - you forgot to mention opening the mail with all the free samples, MOC's, etc. :rotfl::rotfl:

Got my first order from approved foods today.

Box was damaged, and some liquid items had burst in box. But they refunded me the damaged items within hours.

Most of the items were well in date, some by over a year, so much better than expected and would recommend. Don't forget Martins 10% off code.

Thanks for coupons jax - much appreciated.

NB: use your real email address not a 'micky mouse' one as they email you the link to print your coupon!

  • Hi guys,

I have been an active couponer now for 18 months and then I came back from holiday to find they are no longer accepted at T's.

It's been 3 weeks and I really am struggling with the new financial strain, and the subsequent stress, or shopping.

Was wondering what you guys are now doing to cut back costs?
I miss using my infinite coupons at Tesco!
2010 was the worst year ever :(
But 2011 so far has been a lot of fun! :j

Main way is to shop around for bargains (hopefully with a MOC) and stock up - my garage is full of stuff that I bought cheap but will use before expiry. Morrisons is a good example this week with the BOGTF offers - I have 12 bottles of Ragu and 12 Diet Pepsi (I don't drink the stuff but OH and DD1 like it - I prefer wine :rotfl:) and loads of Pringles.
I have also been in Aldi, Asda, Home Bargains, Sainsbury's (using MOCs only), etc.
I've also made use of the competitor MOC's in T's a couple of times plus of course the free Milka, Hovis, 15p Domestos, etc.
Amazingly I've still managed to use £90 worth of MOC's this month and had loads of great offers - not as good as pre-Black Friday but I'm quite pleased. :D
I'm using a 0% Halifax Credit Card at the moment for all my purchases and am putting the money in a savings account for 9 months then I will pay it off and get a bit of interest as well - it's called stooging apparently - Martin has an article on here somewhere. This means I can buy stuff that I will use in the next 9 months before I have to pay for it. I am very disciplined with my finances though - I wouldn't recommend it to everyone.
