Thanks, I've looked in one of the Tesco's near me but I will definitely look in the other 2. I saw them in Asda yesterday but I'm holding out on using my coupons until the last minute in hopes I will find them on offer.;)
Yesterday I found out that Sainsbury's give you points for using your own bags! I also learned they have a funny system for letting you know what is on offer and for how long. Let me explain. When something is on offer in Tesco, Asda and I'm pretty sure in Morrison's on the shelf tag it says when the offer ends, which I find very helpful as I only have so much money I can spend but if there is something on offer I can factor it into my shopping as long as I know how long I have to get enough to have in stock. Like the airwick that is on offer in Tesco at the moment, I couldn't buy as many as I really want at the time I saw they were on special but I know I have until the 24th to go back and get more. So I went to the customer service desk in Sainsbury's to find out how long the Tuborg is going to be on offer. That's when the very nice lady (they are soooo nice in Sainsbury's it's almost a shock to my system after years of miserable Tesco's staff) explained that they aren't told how long things are on offer for and they don't know until Tuesday night if the offer is going to be extended or not. It dawned on me then why Sainsbury's isn't the top grocery store anymore. I like shopping at Sainsbury's and would probably shop there more often if they would make planning shopping trips easier. I'd be really annoyed if I was going to Sainsbury's for a special item that is on offer and when I got there I found that the offer ended the day before! Petrol cost too much now and unfortunately I can still only barely afford to put £20 a week in the tank so I'm not getting as much petrol anymore for £20. (I won't get started on the price of pretrol! Price is going up only because of greed!) On the plus side, I got 15 Tuborg beers, 20 Milka, 5 Candia milk, 8 Whiskas Temptations and 2 loaves of Hovis for £14.52 (the girl would only take 85p off the whiskas instead of scanning the coupon at £1.25). Then I went to Asda and had 16 Muller Corners, 16 Muller Yogurt, 3 Oreos cookies and a Dove liquid soap all of which I had a coupon for. The checkout lady was not at all happy I had all those coupons but she was told to take them all as I bought the stuff. I should have owed her 10p but somehow it came to -30p so I grab a pack of gum and I paid her 25p (exact money) and she gave me back 30p! She must have though I gave her 55p but I didn't tell her as she was really very stroppy because she had to take all those coupons. It was a very good result as I saved £64.75 in coupons and Asda paid me 30p!:TMurphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -

I successfully used the Spar coupon in T's a couple of weeks ago. It should be ok as it's a conditional spend but some T's C.A.s are still making the rules up as they go along!!0
