Checked in my Waity's today and this coupon is not like the recent Sun £5 off £30 where you got another coupon for the following week from the SA, so shall save this to use in Mr T's as conditional spend :j, along with. FF and Somerfield coupons :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

cashless-cow wrote: »Popped into Asda today and asked about this at CSD. Initially the policy was one £2 gift card per item overcharged, but I guess they probably got their fingers burnt  as they have updated the policy again so that if you buy a quantity of an item, then you are only entitled to one £2 gift card, however if they make more than one price error on the same receipt for different products eg. Cif and Shampoo, then you would get a £4 gift card :T:T:T
Lady was really helpful on CSD and showed me the policy update folder as well. What a refreshing change to have a store with staff who actually read and follow policy changes with a genuine smile even though I was unable to benefit this time. Must have a Trout-Free staff selection process :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:j:j:j:j Got an e-mail back from Asda Head Office apologising for their mistake and asking for my address so they can send me another £6 gift card :T:T:T not sure that Head Office have read their own policy update as I had bought 4 of the same item (Cif) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Someone posted the comp on here about thursday or friday. I just came to say thanks, as i've got a winning email too, and it's my first time at entering the comp. So thanks to whoever posted it the other day :A

You mean , when I took the trouble earlier today to post where to find all the comps , you never looked... then , I have to ask myself....why did I bother?
This would have been my feelings if I had been you & been so helpful with your previous posts especially the earlier one with the full information about comps.
You and other posters on here are very generous with your time, advice & information but it seems to me that there are a few who visit this forum who can't be bothered to do any work themselves. I just hope that it doesn't mean this thread will be phased out. Even if there are few coupons, the other shopping "bargains" are really worth knowing about & the idle chit-chat certainly livens up my visits especially when the rain is pouring down & the wind howling!
Keep up the good work.:T0 -

Did anyone just see that horrendous advert for the Scum (Sun) on TV?
Idiotic - at best - comment from Alan Shearer 'the Sun, to British football, is like St James' Park is to Newcastle'.
NO!!!! The fact is that The Scum, to British football, is known as the paper that claimed on the front page - without any foundation - that the Hillsborough disaster was the fans' fault for being 'drunk hooligans'. (BTW to anyone reading this who doesn't know, it was not, they were not).
Obviously Mr Shearer has forgotten about Hillsborough?
This advert has made me really mad! Must go shopping to recover...
The Sun also ran a vicious campaign against Sir Bobby Robson as England manager in the 1990's. Shearer recently described the late great Sir Bobby as "like a second father" to him.
He seems to have a short memory on both counts, but a big bank account for it. :mad:0
