you would never get any of tesco staff doing that for you!!!
I know!! I was treated like a valued customer in Sainsbury's too.:T The 1st Sainsbury's I went to for the Tuborg beer doesn't stock it and the lady that was helping me look for it was so nice and took me to the Customer Service desk so they could check a store nearby to see if they stocked it. The lady at CS was really nice too! We got into a chat about Tesco and coupons. I ended up giving her the info on this forum so she can print coupons too.Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -

My first visit today to T's since Black Friday, I'm pleased to say it was very quiet. I checked at CS wanted to use Somerfields £5 off £30, a trout and a budding trout there so knew there was no chance, trout said we don't take any coupons any more and I said no wonder the store's so quiet, budding t said no, Somerfields are not a competitor to Tesco and I said they are now because I'm spending my £30 there.
Nothing changed at my T's although didn't expect any different.
I used some points coupons grabbed the odd bargain and left(forgot to get my mob top up, triple credit from my double reward)had a till split 150points on vodka.:D
Will still nip in for points or the odd bargain but it's been a great experience shopping elsewhere, customer service is so much better every where else.
Hope your baddy's better Mad.0 -
Morning everyone
Im grasping at straws as they say, but has anyone else found Tescos to be accepting coupons when not purchasing the product. Im guessing that you didnt actually buy Tena or Goodness Shakes and am wondering if it is worth trying random cashiers.
No I didn't buy the products, thats why I checked b4 using the coupons. Was very supprised when they were accepted.May have been a fluke. Don't have any more 'real' coupons to try again tho. X

I have never seen discounted food as our M&S -it is all taken upstairs for the staff and ex staff members to buy or it used to be as I must admit I haven't been in the food section for a few months now.
My M&S rarely let the customers buy the reduced items. Most of the use by date food are send to carehome. Not sure whether M&S are doing their charity bits or are charging the carehome at cost price.Evening All
Recieved this in my email today with a link for a £1 off coupon exclusively at Superdrug. I registered for a freebie at some point and signed up to the newsletter.
I received it too, was thinking of posting it here, but it has my email addy when you clicked the coupon link. So I decided not too.My local asda (darlaston, west midlands) said they do not accept internet vouchers of any kind
My asda accepted it with no probs - btw, they should if you buy the products. If I were you, the next time it happen again, go to the customer service desk & challange them (as long as it is coupon safe & not buying from ebay but printed out from your pc)RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0
