    My OH used to look at some of the stuff that came through the post and it was:
    "WHAT do we need that for?" or
    "Why the hell did you send for one of those....oh, might have guessed - a coupon :D"

    The only thing I've had recently is the Dolce Gusto stuff I sent to gill377 (would have gone in the bin otherwise - glad they didn't go to waste) and a free sample of some washing machine conditioner - Lenor I think.
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    My bloke came strolling in, post in hand, saying 'why did you send off for a sample of tena for MEN for me?' i'm like chill out man its only for the coupon! in this case, two 50p ones for tena men. the size and shape of the pads are sooooo funny, they are specially shaped to fit the, erm, scrotum!! maybe when DS is potty training i'll tape them to his regular pants for a do-it-yourself pull up nappy:D
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I wonder what alternative uses the other couponners have come up with for their 'superfluous' goods.

    hi i was told they are realising how much they are loosing so when it all dies down they will bring it back possibly but will be alot more strict

    newbie

    i hope its true but won't be holding my breath. they were very strict at my store before about checking coupons so don't know how they could be any worse!!!!

    The cupboards were getting bare, so VC (third person, singular;)) popped into Tesco for the first time since "Black Friday".

    Hovis Soft White Medium 800g

    3for.gifAny 3 for £3.00 - valid from 30/09/2009 until

    VC (third person, singular;))"bought" 6 loaves with 6 coupons (the coupons were each put through as £1.14....the cost per individual loaf) so quickly grabbed some free sweets for the kids. Leaving with his cash (and Tesco non-spending) intact!;)

    Half a dozen loaves a day, should fill the freezer up soon!

    VC (third person, singular;)) can always use the toaster to defrost the bread, if anyone is unsure how to do it:rolleyes::rotfl:

    VC (third person, singular;)) wouldn't even go into the Tesco garage to pay 20p for the tyre-air, and so stopped and cheerily paid at a garage on his (third person, singular;)) way to Waitrose.

    The Waitrose shop was a pleasant surprise, with a smiling SA, who happily took all the coupons VC (third person, singular;)) had.

    :beer::beer::beer:

    As far as I am concerned,now, the only Sir Terry is "Wogan";);)

    I printed off 3, went to my local T's and handed over my coupons and the loaves...

    ...SHE CALLED OVER HER MANAGER TO CHECK...

    ...he gave me a glare, then reluctantly accepted them, I complained to customer services and got £5 GIFTCARD FOR THE EMBARRASSMENT.

    I think that is a result. Free bread AND genuinely screwed them.
