I have just had some scrambled eggs for brekky.
I keep feeling nauseous but that may be because I've not eaten since Monday

I've also started to make chicken soup in the slow cooker for tea! :T

    Stock
    • chicken carcass left over from roast dinner
    • 1 large onion
    • 2 or 3 carrots
    • mixed dried herbs
make stock in slow cooker using the chicken carcass, onion, carrots broken in half and some mixed dried herbs. cover with water and put on higher heat setting.

    Soup

    • Chicken stock (home-made as above)
    • Left over/cooked chicken pieces
    • Carrots
    • Potatoes
    • peppercorns
    • philadelphia - to make it creamy
drain chicken carcass, bones, skin etc from stock (leave mushy carrots & onions)
then add 2 or 3 grated carrots - again allow to cook 3-5 mins, add in any left over bits of chicken and veg (sometimes I add bits of spring cabbage or sweetcorn) and bring to the boil. Throw in 3 peeled and chopped potatoes and simmer on low heat setting for about 40 mins to 1 hour.
Blend with more fresh pepper and philly and serve warm with a bread roll.
It's not fancy, it's not expensive, but it's the best!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I have seen young people in shops in their PJs, I think it's a chav thing to do. It's not gray or black discreet loungewear but pink fluffy PJs with hearts and lips and slippers for footwear.

Now I want chicken soup...was so mad with OH on Sunday. We had a lovely organic chicken and it had loads of bits left on it which I was going to make soup/stock with and he chucked it in the bin...did think about getting it out but it was with some gone off stuff that was mouldy gggrrrrrr
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Just realised I've done quite a lot already today, and I've been up two hours.

    I've:
    - Written up meeting notes for the first video commission
    - Written the script for the first video commission
    - Put on a load of washing
    - Printed out the script and meeting notes
    ** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **
    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
