Should I Fix now

Looking for another fix, but the buy to swap rates are pushing these rates upwards. Should I jump in now and reserve the best 2yr fix before they hit the 5% mark. Currently with NW on a 5.09 fix which runs our 31 August.

What concerns me though is the thread about Credit Cards and credit scoring. I had no problem with obtaining my NW mortgage 2yrs ago. However, Like the other guy I have 5 cards, but only 2 have balances on them. Having spoken with my Mortgage Advisor recently about a possible move and affordability question, she said I could get a mortgae for £135K with my present card balance of £4k. I'm now thinking of staying with NW on their 4.55% deal just to make life easier. Any thoughts on these concerns?0

I cant see any potential problems with your credit situation
I'd definately have a look at your options whole of market though. with the market changing so quickly its the quickest and most effective way of shopping around. What would take you hours, even days of your spare time a good advisor could do pretty much instantly. No fee's. nothing to lose.I am a Mortgage Adviser
