I currently have an overdraft of £4500 which is always used. What is the best way to get rid of this?

That's a rather general question. In short put in £4500 + to your account.
If you are having specific problems with debt please elaborate, maybe post a SOA. Without information people won't be able to give you much help.
In general start by analysing your incoming and outgoings, try and make cuts so that you don't use up the full £4500 each month. Set yourself a target and try and reduce the OD by say £200 each month or whatever you think is achievable.
Consider setting up another account with another bank in case they suddenly take your overdraft away from you which does happen. The other account will be a back up.0
