Sainsbury's Coffee, Laundry & Kid's Stationery Bargains

I work in Sainsbury's and there is currently a 'range review' on coffee as all our own brand coffee is becoming Fairtrade! This means quite a few lines are on clearance at half price such as Nescafe Partners Blend, Kenco Sustainable Development, Clipper Organic Fairtrade (green label) and Nescafe Cafe Parisien. There are probably loads more but my memory isn't that good - sorry!

Also, some small boxes of own brand washing powder are on clearance at half price. The Clean Home bio was definitely there and I think I also spotted the normal bio, non-bio and colour but I may be mistaken.

Loads of different kid's stationery on clearance at half price including colouring pencils, gel pens, mini pens and pencils and various Crayola products. In my store some are in the normal stationery section but some are also on an end opposite the checkouts. Might be good for stocking fillers; would buy some myself but I don't have kids.

Hope some of this helps someone out there.

Just been to Sainsburys and the 30 and 50 wash powder both half price the smaller 10 wash ones were still full price. Bought 2 boxes of the 50 wash £3.41 each. Even better i got extra 10% off staff discount.
  • That's great news. I am already loving Sainsbury's Ft ground coffees: great value - 2 for £3, 2 for £4. A brilliant ethical supermarket!

I always buy the Sainsbury's Gold instant. do you know if this is the same but different supplier? i hope it tastes the same as it's taken years to find a favourite.

As far as I know the suppliers are the same it's just that the beans used will be Fairtrade. I don't think the tea 'recipe' changed when it all went Fairtrade so i guess this will be the same.
